Job Description

Issuing Solutions is a newly formed business unit within Visa’s Value-Added Services (VAS) team within the Global Product organization. Issuing Solutions drives billions of dollars of revenue for Visa’s VAS unit with a mission to enable issuing clients (e.g. banks, Fintechs, embedded finance participants etc.) to issue Visa credentials, process transactions and ultimately take advantage of the diverse suite of value-added services and products at Visa tailored specifically for issuers.

The Analyst for Issuing Solutions Business Operations will be responsible for driving organizational alignment for the business and helping provide rigor and attention to run the business smoothly. This person will join a team aimed at providing critical business infrastructure needed across a variety of Issuing Solutions initiatives. A key responsibility for this role will be to execute and drive deliverables related to Issuing Solutions’ various Business Reviews with Visa C-suite as well as defining, tracking and reporting against Issuing Solutions metrics and dashboard. The role will also be focused on partnering with cross-functional team members (e.g. Product, Sales, Technology, Client Services) to help Issuing Solutions prepare for internal presentations and other requests.


This is a critical position reporting to the Senior Director of Issuing Solutions Business Operations (who is based in Austin, TX) and working closely and supporting the Head of Issuing Solutions (who is based in San Francisco, CA). The role requires considerable cross-functional collaboration, superb project management skills, flexibility to adapt to a variety of projects and initiatives and ability to operate proactively. The ability to communicate effectively with and synthesize executive-level talking points for the VP+ level is also an important aspect of this role.


Examples of responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Lead delivery and management of C-suite level content for Issuing Solutions internal requests and presentations (e.g. Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), EC Forum presentations, Board presentations, Investor Day, earnings calls, client presentations etc.)
  • Manage the annual planning process for Issuing Solutions through coordination and strong communication across Issuing Solutions product lines and Visa corporate teams and Visa Global Product
  • Define and develop key metrics (e.g. OKRs, KPIs) for the Issuing Solutions business and perform ongoing tracking and reporting (e.g. helping manage the Issuing Solutions dashboard)
  • Drive ad hoc analysis and due diligence to provide key business insights for high-priority initiatives (e.g. go-to-market strategies, revenue acceleration opportunities, scenario analyses, competitive intelligence)


This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.


Basic Qualifications
o 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications
o 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
o Adaptable to a variety of different work and projects
o Previous experience in financial services and/or payments preferred
o Excellent project management skills and experience exercising informal authority in a large cross-functional team environment
o Excellent analytical (qualitative and quantitative) acumen
o Strong attention to detail
o Curious and inquisitive, with a strong desire to get beyond the “what” and into the “why”
o Proactive and effective communicator, experienced in presenting information to all levels
o Self-starter who is comfortable in ambiguous environments
o Collaborative spirit and a knack for understanding stakeholder needs
o Highly adept at PowerPoint and Excel
