Hays are excited to be in partnership with a highly established, rapidly expanding housing contractor in their search for a Quantity Surveyor. With over 20 years’ experience they have built up an excellent reputation for small scale residential projects. With a proven track record of delivering high quality services, they have established themselves within the Northern Ireland housing market. Due to continued growth our client is in search for a Quantity surveyor to their team.

Your new role
Within your new role you will manage projects worth up to £500k in value. Main responsibilities will include cost planning and reconciliation, tendering and negotiation as well as writing monthly reports and producing final accounts. You will report to the main director of the company working closely with the Operational Team to ensure projects are completed on programme and within budget.

What You Will Need to Succeed
You will be an experienced Quantity Surveyor preferably stemming from a residential background. A proven track record of delivering build projects will be necessary. You will have excellent contractual knowledge in particularly the JCT form of contract, partnered with strong negotiation and communication skills.
