Come join us! Mitie Landscapes has an exciting opportunity for a Seasonal Support Manager to join our team at the UKs leading FM company, supporting our Winter Services management team due to increased growth.

We are seeking an energetic and valued contributor to join the organisation in November.

You will be responsible for the following

  • Providing additional rota capability, weekend, out of hours and holiday cover for regional contract managers within a group of regions during the winter gritting season.
  • High level of flexibility is required as work may be required in other regions distant from your home base and overnight stays in hotels will be organised.
  • Carrying out duties outside the winter maintenance season as may be directed by the Operations Manager. This may include winning and organising additional project works (hard or soft landscaping).
  • Implementing a positive health and safety culture



  • Experienced professional within the Horticultural/Landscaping Industry preferred but not essential
  • Can demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality systems.
  • Communication and people management skills
  • Self-motivated and Proactive
  • Flexible
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft suite of programmes and good overall IT skills

Additional Information

Health and Safety responsibilities

  • Follow Group and company policies and procedures at all times;
  • Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment;
  • Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received;
  • Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system;

Information Security

  • Ensure compliance with Mitie’s information security procedures in all activities;
  • Proactively identify and report security risks to your manager;
  • Report actual and suspected security incidents;
