Job Description

We are looking for a candidate to handle the management, growth and cultivation of our online social media accounts and communities.

Outside of supporting them, we are also looking for an individual to handle the community management on TikTok, with a focus on creating compelling and engaging content. Candidates should be an avid user of the platform, knowledgeable about the latest TikTok trends, and enjoy experimenting with content in unique and unexpected ways.

• Daily content management, community engagement, conversation, listening, monitoring and issue escalation

• Participate in brainstorms and content ideation to develop content ideas and topics that increase brand awareness, engagement and use of new formats and trends.

• Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with Client Services, Creative, Strategy and Production teams to execute content plans on TikTok.

• Knowledgeable of what performs well on TikTok and what doesn’t.

• Social audits to identify key online influencers as it relates to client projects

• Performance insights that will be used to hone and improve client campaigns and programs

• Publish an editorial calendar, ensuring content and assets are being released on time

• Support brand loyalty and encourage generation of user created content via active community participation and conversation

• Manage online discussions by listening and responding to users (where appropriate) in a timely and authentic manner; escalate issues as needed and provide feedback on community topic threads

• Monitor and track discussion topics for management team; prepare weekly/monthly reports to update staff/clients on predetermined metrics; proactively monitor brand and relevant themes/news stories within the blogosphere and provide suggestions for timely content, assets and conversations within brand communities

• Work daily with account teams to ensure proper messaging is being executed online and that it is relevant to client goals. Provide real-time coverage.

• Use online listening, supplemental research and daily community learnings to provide insights for improving programs and enhancing program successes • Research and identify influencers and communities for influencer campaigns

• Research and identify social media best practices and relevant brand examples within the space for proposals and online audits


  • 1-2+ years of professional work experience (experience at interactive, advertising, public relations or marketing agency preferred).
  • Background knowledge of major and emerging social channels, and a true passion for the social media marketing space.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present ideas and information clearly; keen eye for detail also required.
  • Knowledgeable about TikTok’s platform and usage (e.g., best practices, challenges, hashtags, stitches/duets, filters, music usage, functionalities, trends, and guidelines).
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite products (Premier Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) or other creative editing software is helpful, but not a requirement.
  • Experience as an Instagram user or TikTok creator with strong creative and video skills is a plus.
  • Collaborative team player able to integrate with a diverse, talented team.
  • Must have active accounts across key social media sites including, but not limited to, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok would be a plus
  • Excellent problem solving, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with online tracking methodologies and measurement best practices
  • Background knowledge of major and emerging social channels, and a true passion for the social media marketing space.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Understands/ empathizes with the emotional and physical effects of feedback conversations
