Supply of Shutdown Valve – As part of Project scope, to meet the increase in gas supply demand to both Al Dur Phase 1 & Phase 2 power plants, the capacity of existing gas supply lines from DDP to DMS is required to be enhanced by installing an additional 20″ pipeline between DDP and DMS. The subject Shutdown Valves (one each) are required at DDP & DMS for safe shutdown of this pipeline, in case of leak / rupture / emergency scenario. Supply of Shutdown Valve
Please note: Vendors must comply with below requirement to be technically qualified:
– Compliance to Seat Leakage Class: TSO, Rate A as per ISO 5208.
– Provide minimum SIL 2 certification (as per IEC 61508) for Shutdown Valve assembly (Valve+Actuator+Accessories).
– Actuator d for Safety Factor of 2 for all valve positions at Max Shutoff DP (1200 psig) & at Min. Gas/Air Supply Pressure (60 psig)
– Compliance to Actuator Fail-Close action in case of failure of Power/ Process Gas / Air & Closing Time of 1 sec./inch of valve .
– Provide Remote Partial Stroke Testing (PST) facility through latest SIL-2 certified Smart Positioner & supply of PST software.
– Direct Process Gas Actuated Shutdown Valve: Suitability of Valve including Actuator to operate with Khuff Gas.
– Direct Process Gas Actuated Shutdown Valve: Design of Valve & Actuator including accessories (in contact with Process Gas), suitable for H2S (2000 ppm) and Compliance to NACE MR 0175.
– Bidder/Manufacturer is API 6D licensed for the last 6 consecutive years
– Bidder will source materials directly from MILL/manufacturer or through the authorized agent. Bidder has submitted the written confirmation along with Evidence (like letter of intention, agent appointing letter, etc).
– Bidder has confirmed compliance in writing with 3.2 certification as required by Company
– Bidder’s offered product is approved in Oil and Gas companies (minimum 3) within GCC for similar service. Bidder has submitted a copy of the latest approval letter along with recent order/contracts.
– Bidder is certified and operates an effective documented quality management system based on the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, or a COMPANY approved equivalent such as ASME or API. Bidder has submitted the Certification as per the requirements.
– Bidder has provided the proof evidence of manufacture’s previous experience for manufacture and supply of required equipment as per scope & specifications (minimum 5 Years).

Those who are capable and wish to participate in the above tender have to purchase the Tender Documents online through the Bahrain Tender Board’s portal https://e-tendering.tenderboard.gov.bh starting from Monday, 12 April 2021 Bidders are requested to enclose with their bids the Initial Bond for the amount specified above or at the rate of 1% of the tender value whichever amount is lesser, provided that no initial bonds value shall be less than BD 100/-. The initial bond should be in the form of a Certified Cheque, Bank Guarantee, Insurance Policy or Cash (or as specified in the Tender Documents) valid for the duration specified above.
